A Gentle Practice for When Life Feels Heavy

Hello sweet friend,

One of the challenging practices on the spiritual path is the quiet, steady practice of all is well.

Because clearly, when we look at the world, so much is not well. The evidence appears hour by hour. In the news. In our communities. Sometimes even within our closest circles of connection. Grief, uncertainty, injustice, and fear are real, and pretending otherwise helps no one.

And yet… there are places in our lives where this truth does hold. Small places, perhaps. A steady breath. A moment of kindness. The way our bodies know how to heal. The love that hasn’t left us, even when things have changed.

These places matter. They are not insignificant—they are anchors.

The practice is to find these places as often as we can. To return to them gently. To let them remind us that while everything may not be well, something is. And that something is enough to keep us from collapsing inward or hardening outward.

Practicing all is well is not denial. It is a remembering. A way of staying rooted while the world moves. And today, even in the midst of everything, there is a place where you are held.

All is well. Lots of love. You are loved!
