Hello sweet Friend!
Just because you were wounded doesn’t mean you can’t shine.
It is completely possible for you to shine brightly, confidently, even if you were repeatedly told that you weren’t worth it or made to feel bad for being yourself.
Today’s message is about shining brightly and why that’s so darn scary.
Many of us were hurt for being ourselves… there we were, shining our light so very brightly, confidently, and right then we were clobbered for revealing our true selves. We were teased, or slapped, or shamed, or laughed at…or worse and these pieces of our history have left their mark.
And that is the reason we hold ourselves back from doing the things we most long to do now — it’s an awkward attempt at keeping ourselves safe. This is why we continue patterns which do not serve us, ones that hide our light.
The great news is that it’s completely possible for you to shine brightly, confidently, even if you were repeatedly told that you weren’t worth it or made to feel bad for being yourself.
And that’s what today’s message is all about. May this go to just the right hearts today.
Remember: Just because you were hurt, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t shine.
When we liberate the energy trapped there, we are lighter, more powerful, more confident, more able to flow in the direction of our longing vs continuing to stay in the mode of fearful expectation in response to shining brightly.
One of the biggest messages I receive from Spirit is this: You could be shining in such a bigger way but you’re holding yourself down because you’re afraid. And fear begets fear. And this is NOT your destiny.
If you’re afraid to shine for any of these reasons:
People will be upset if you shine.
You’ll get nasty feedback if you shine.
You’re afraid you’ll be laughed at, teased, booed.
You worry you’ll be attacked for your position.
You know your family won’t understand, they’ll turn against you.
Then, this message is for you.
