On sharing your services with the world and not feeling like you are icky, slimy, or sleazy.
Hello, sweet friend! You are someone who offers a beautiful service to the world in exchange for an excellent fee. Or you’d like to be. And yet, sharing what you do and what you LOVE about what you are doing isn’t always the easiest, right? Even though you know the lingo, even though your mastermind posse has bolstered you, even though you’re following the script…that inner snag is still there: I don’t want people to think I’m scammy. I don’t want people to think I am trying to rip them off. I don’t want to be lumped in with unsavory internet types who prey on innocent people. Don’t let me seem sleazy! Or greedy! Or un-spiritual…because spiritual people shouldn’t be earning money!
I get it. And, with all the love and kindness I can muster, I am telling you right now: Stop it! You need to stop doing that. Stop allowing your kooky fears to drive the bus. Stop feeding the stories…those things are worse than Gremlins (please tell me you know what those are?!).
Let’s talk about you becoming a confident sharer of delight.
Let’s talk about you becoming a confident sharer of delight. Because, how I see it is that you are sharing what lights you up with the world.
You make this place better by doing that.
And that makes you a Sharer of Delight.
So don’t hide your light, shine on. What you offer brings others joy, and telling us about that is never a cringe-worthy interruption.
You are here to help make things easier and simpler for us. You are here to help, not harm. You genuinely care, you really want to make it better…so how is that ever wrong?
While I completely understand you are feeling a bit uneasy and hesitant about sharing your offerings, we need to heal that issue. What I know to be true is this: You ARE here to be doing this. You are here to be fully out, shining your heart light authentically and without apology. You are a spark of the Divine and you need to represent. And that’s true whether you’re a life coach or a plumber, an artist or a computer wizard. It’s all the same, really. You are here helping others…and in order to do that wonderfully, you need to feel confident about sharing what you do.
You are a spark of the Divine and you need to represent. And that’s true whether you’re a life coach or a plumber, an artist or a computer wizard. It’s all the same, really. You are here helping others…and in order to do that wonderfully, you need to feel confident about sharing what you do.
You are here to share what you LOVE with the world, not what your kooky machinations say you’re doing.
Sales and marketing are really about helping people find what they are already searching for.
ALREADY SEARCHING PEOPLE. They are already searching. Already. They’re looking for someone like you to help them. This isn’t you forcing people to buy something at knifepoint, you’re not scaring people into giving you their credit card.
Trust this: if the mission from your heart is to help people and your offering is in alignment with your highest vibration, then you are acting as an agent of the Divine. It’s part of your job description to make yourself visible to people who are searching. Doing your job means you step up and allow yourself to be findable to those in need.
Already searching people will only find findable people 😉 and that means if you are hiding because you don’t want people to think that you are sleazy, then you will not be findable.
When you know in your bones that it’s an honor and a privilege to serve at the pleasure of the Universe when you get that you are a conduit for the Divine, you don’t feel concerned about sharing your message… you’re concerned about NOT sharing it.
No need for slimy, icky, shady shenanigans here.
Keep yourself clean and clear from shady, questionable tactics.
You will KNOW in your gut what those are. And if it feels wrong don’t do it. It’s that simple. Even if someone is pushing you hard, and you feel that gut saying NO this is slimy, don’t do it. At least take it to a friend you trust and ask first.
Slimy tactics prey on the very wounding in people you actually want to help. Your only tactic is this: shine, baby, shine. Let yourself be excited about what you are here to offer – let the love that you naturally feel for what you’re doing flow into your words and actions.
You will need to practice. It takes time to become a confident sharer of delight. Don’t be so hard on yourself if you feel nervous the first, oh, five thousand times…hehe that was a joke. But maybe not. 😉
Trust and believe
Right now, there are souls interested in finding the healing they need; they’re looking for the right energetic fit. And you are that right energetic fit for many more souls than you could ever help.
Your peeps are out there. Looking for you right now. Your job is to be findable. You can’t be findable to your right peeps if you are hiding because you do not trust or believe…
The Divine is your booking agent, and you are the talent. Trust and know this in your bones. Know that as long as you have stepped in and said YES, and you are doing your job (which means you are showing up and shining), you will be met and supported. People will find you according to Divine timing.
Do your job, dwell in the energy you say you’re about, and welcome them in.
Show up as yourself.
Be the energy you say you’re all about.
Step into your sliver of the Universe.
And from that place, speak to your perfect peeps in all that you do. With every word you write, welcome them in. As you create your wonderful creations, keep those perfect-for-you peeps in your heart.
Soulful sharing manifesto:
I am an Agent of the Divine. I have a unique purpose, and I am committed to sharing my spark with the world.
When you dwell in the energy and intention and love that you’re sharing, the Divine takes over and acts as your Booking Agent. The Divine cannot help but align the souls longing for what you have to offer with you. Period.
Remember, remember, remember!
Remember, they are already looking!
Remember, you are a confident sharer of delight.
Remember, just like the sun, never apologize for shining your light.
Hugs and love, you got this!
