Your way is the right way

My notes from this show:

Your way is the right way.

I have been out in the garden early this morning, saying hello to the flowers and giving some water where needed and then taled to a friend for a while, ramping up on the excitement of the moment and sharing in our various fun project.

I love it when I talk to a friend and there’s not one bit of complaining going on… not that our head is in the sand! We aren’t cheezy pollyanna people over here… it’s that we’re choosing and we’re aware that every moment, everything we speak, everything we focus on, it’s a prayer we are sending those vibes out and creating more from there.

So for me, whatever I am talking about and spending my time on, it’s gonna be what I want intentionally. It’s like going to a restaurant, it’s like going to a restaurant… we never order the dish we don’t like to eat, right?

Let’s cheers to this magnificent day – and to your magnificence – your sparkle, your beauty, your shine … your amazeballs awesomesauce.

I have a saying… sometimes my friends call it a Robinism: Your way is the right way.

What that means. There is an inner guide in you, and a powerful knowing in you always leading you forward in the best everything for you. And it can take a little time getting used to following your own guidance with all the experts out there — from friends to experts — to really know and understand that the only way that really matters is your way.

Thinking about a friend of mine who said once, “Yeah but, my way… I don’t always wanna trust, it’s not very nice.” Well. We’re not talking about the inner booger who is stirring the pot and making things harder, we’ve listened to that voice enough.

What I am talking about being your own friend, loving you, and feeling confident about shining as yourself and feeling a sense of purpose in being you exactly as you are and going from there.

A lot of the time I know we’re worried about what everybody else is gonna say.

What are they gonna say if I do this thing? That’s supernormal. Think of all our schooling… it’s so understandable that we’d look for directions from other people. We were told what to do and how to do it. The right way was taught to us. Of course, we are accustomed to looking for “expert opinions.”

But the big opinion needs to be yours, your way is the right way.

All the things you like to do. The way you like to do it, to express yourself, whatever it is you are doing…. It needs to be yours! All of that is so unique to you, so original, and it’s the right way because it’s you!

How would it be inside of you to push out all the other voices and be left with your own? Your beautiful voice that’s saying exactly what it wants and needs?

I wonder what it would be like for you to decide to make a new stand consciously and consistently to love your way and follow your way and understand that as things come into your life — from people to things — that you still don’t have to agree with everything you don’t have to take everything on, you don’t have to adopt all the ways and what matters the most is that you are originally and authentically following your inner yes.

your way is the right way

You are following your own right way originally, authentically, and it feels good!

Just because someone else is speaking authority — it’s natural for each of us to feel a bit of a rumbling in our tummies, third chakra is very in tune to this stuff — but what if you went with it and decided, their way is the right way for them and your way is right for you.

Your way is the right way! Relish in that, enjoy that, and love it for you.

Let’s be us.

Even if there’s friction.

Even if it’s scary.

Even if the expert is saying something opposite.

What would it be like to listen within and go from there? You can still receive feedback or guidance but really, we need to run it thru our own inner guide.

That inner guide is connected to all that is. The creative force of the universe. And you really cannot make a mistake things are always working out for you especially easy when you’re listening to you.

So let’s talk for a minute about the things that might fall away because you’re listening to your right way…

That sensation of loss or missing out is inevitable. It’s going to happen. If you choose your way, even going simplistically back to the restaurant if you go with what you love and you honor what you really want and you understand that is the choice for you right now, and it’s what’s calling you in the best possible way, how can you lose?

How can you make a mistake?

If you’re truly following your inner guidance, how can there be loss?

your way is the right way

And yet, there is that sensation of things falling away. I understand. If you honor your knowing maybe you’ll feel a sense of missing out but know you made the right choice.

And for me that is always the best feeling thing, to know I chose the best thing for me at the moment…

So delight in that, you’re honoring your way and it’s the right way!

Sometimes I talk with friends who are in the middle of something serious like illness or divorce or another life change. It becomes crucial to learn to listen to the inner voice, the inner knowing, to our own way.

The only thing I need to ask people is, when you tune in, what does your heart say? And people will have an answer… it will be a clear answer a strong answer, a good answer. And sometimes it will be followed up by a BUT — but the doctor says, or the lawyer says… or my friend says… and that may be true for them, whatever they are telling you but your inner knowing is still the rightest way. If you feel a knowing that feels good about what the person is telling you, advising you, then probably that is your right way too.

A lot of times, we might not know the right direction but we do know what does not feel good. We know the direction that feels like we’re going to the dark disco… so that too is guidance. It isn’t always about knowing the perfect answer at all times, it’s about honoring the vibes and choosing what feels good and authentic for you.

Your way is always the right way.  With more than seven billion people on the planet, how could it be possible that there are people who know you better than you know yourself?

Ultimately, you are are an original unique being, with your own path and expression and we need you expressing you as you in the world for the world to be complete.

We need you in your joy and delight, not your confusion or upset because this other person is telling you what is not right for you.

Even if it means there is a worry that if you do it the right way something bad will happen, you can feel good that you’re still doing your way. Because truly, the goal is to be lit up through the day as much as possible, not adding stress and straining. And the efforting of stressing and straining usually has a vibe in it which makes more problems for us. They’re flavored with an undertone of fear.

Sometimes I talk to friends in sessions and they’re going through a big-ticket item and I can feel a sense of seriousness about it and I feel ooh, I don’t want to say the wrong thing, I don’t want to scare someone. You want to be thoughtful and kind. But I trust and say to myself, your way is the right way, share what you know. Listen and trust. And do you know where you listen? You listen in your heart.

It’s good to know that if you felt different and not like everyone else growing up and it created suffering for you too, one of the greatest gifts out of that suffering comes the gift to celebrate who you are and be original and honor your own right way. You teach others how to do this when you honor your way.

Turn to the inner guide inside, what does he or she say are your next best steps? Because truly, it’s about you being in a state of joy and happiness… that is your only function here.

If you’re ever feeling lonely or lost you need only ask, what do I need right now? What would help me? Ask your inner being for guidance. Your way is the right way.

If you’ve really been struggling to listen to yourself then what really needs to happen is a serious connect up with yourself, a joy up, from you to you. Spend a little more time with yourself on your own disconnected from everything and everyone else. What is it you love to do for fun? Make sure you give yourself at least 30 minutes a day… do what you love. Get out that instrument or art project or stroll the gardens. Get to know yourself. Your own nuances, preferences, the things you see … get to know yourself better and begin that synch up with you and your inner being. It’s worth it every time, you are such an amazing light and spirit and you are here for your own joy but also to help the world rediscover it’s own. To help shine a light. And that’s really all we can ever offer is light and love and ease… a sense of making this space a bit brighter.

To me, understanding our truest way is about joy and juiciness and love means we’re not doing stuff we don’t wanna do. We’re loving what we love and leaving the rest. And, everybody to their own… everybody is free to do this for themselves and even as they enter your path, they enter your stream, and they’re talking about stuff you don’t care about you just don’t have to engage in it because that’s your right way. You don’t have to roll out the red carpet for other people’s bitching and moaning about stuff, you can stay with yourself and stay with the joy and witness the light within them. You don’t have to change them or explain to them. Sometimes when people are really going on and on, I will think this is my friend and I love them, look what a light they are… because that’s my way and I am honoring my way and I know that that is the only thing I really need to do is honor my way and trust. Even if there’s fear there, the bigger prize is that I honored my way. YAY. We honored our way!

So may that serve you, friend. Stay focused on how amazing you are, how beautiful you are inside and outside, how beautiful your life is right now as is and perhaps realize happiness and joy are the function and now is all we really ever have. So why are we spending our now on less than joyful things?

your way is the right way

⭐A Course in Miracles Quotes:

“You do not want to suffer. You may think it buys you something, and may still believe a little that it buys you what you want, yet surely this belief is shaken now at least to question it, to suspect it really makes no sense, it’s not gone yet, but it lacks the roots that held it tightly to the hidden secret places of your mind.” ACIM WKBK Lesson 102

“You are indeed essential to the Universe’s plan. Without your joy, the Universe is incomplete. Without your smile, the world cannot be saved. While you are sad, the light of the Universe itself is dim and lusterless..” –ACIM WKBK Lesson 100
