Self-Care Isn't Selfish

I just finished a bit of awesomesauce in session today, and I wanted to come and share something a little different with you too here on the blog. Usually, I like to post my takeaways from guidance received from Spirit, but today I thought I’d record you a little video message.  Nothing fancy, super simple, but total love from my heart to yours. There is a loose transcript for you below.  We can become very caught up in our worry about other people’s reactions and other people’s upset and other… …Read More »

Dealing with Difficult People // Tea with Robin Podcast Episode 60

Posted on

In the years I’ve been offering healing sessions, I can’t think of a single person who hasn’t come to me at some point in our work together to talk about the difficult person in their life. Dealing with difficult people can be challenging but it is not impossible. One of the first things we need to do is admit to our feelings. And that might seem simple, but really I find people don’t like to admit to their feelings because they’re afraid. They’re afraid of the person and afraid of… …Read More »

The Abundance Series: Healing Our Money Stories

This has been such an interesting week at “work” in healing sessions…the topic came again and again of how hard it is to allow time for us in the ways we want and just let our needs be important without feeling guilty, or justifying, or defending, or having to do a ton of things for everyone else first. Do you have those things you love to do but you feel guilty about it? Do you ever feel like you need to justify it or even earn your way to have… …Read More »

Rock it like you mean it: Self Care Tips for Entrepreneurs

The Love Sheriff’s guide to rocking entrepreneurship like you mean it 🙂 I help a lot of people who are in business for themselves (mostly they’re soulpreneurs). I’d love to share some of my healing insights as it relates to self care and entrepreneurship with you. Sometimes I meet Awkwardpreneurs in my healing room. That’s my affectionate term for entrepreneurs who are out of alignment in one way or another. To be sure–they’re some of the coolest creative people I know. And, they’re out of balance. We self-employed love to… …Read More »

It’s OK If It Wasn’t Good. It’s OK to Stop Pretending.

There’s nothing wrong with you if you have a bad day. If you feel sad or off sometimes, it’s okay. What the big deal is what we choose to do about it. We are so much more than the stories we tell. We are joy. We are light. We are infinite possibility. And we always have the freedom to go down the tubes with the klinky thinking. Or not. In this episode of Tea with Robin, we’re talking about the ups and downs of everyday life and how to take… …Read More »

Message from The Big U: Don

Hello Friend! I am slowly on the mend after having surgery nearly 5 weeks ago. Self-care has been on my mind a lot but I’ve also found myself worrying and wondering at times if I shouldn’t be pushing myself harder to get better sooner and return back to work faster. It’s a theme a lot of us experience on the journey. I hope my words and offerings here serve those of you feeling called to hear it. I have been getting subtle messages from the Big U: Don’t Push It!… …Read More »

How to make room for your own healing

Hello sweet Friends! I am getting ready to have a major surgery and something tells me it’s a good idea to share some thoughts with you about what I am doing to make space for my own healing and recovery. I promise it’s not a ploy for more casseroles during my recovery time. OK, maybe I better take that promise back because if you knew that #1husband can really only cook toast and coffee, you’d be sending me those casseroles, pronto! I hope my sharing about my process during… …Read More »

Moving gently after suffering a loss or setback

Moving gently after suffering a loss or setback

I have been moving through my days carefully this week. I am moving with my grief and the awakening that is happening around it. I’m moving gently. Gently rowing my boat forward, but giving myself plenty of self care and love. I’m eating consciously, resting extra, choosing carefully whom I surround myself with, and I’m unplugging more. This is how I manage the upset I feel and still manage to function in the world. I still see my clients, and I incorporate all of what’s happening into our conversations. This… …Read More »
